Returns & Refunds
We want you to be delighted with your MC Davidian piece. If it isn't right for you, here is exactly how to return it.

1. You have 14 days to change your mind
You may return any item within 14 days of receiving your order, for any reason. You do not need to justify your decision.
You are welcome to try the item on, exactly as you would in a shop. What matters is that it comes back to us in a condition we can resell: undamaged, unworn beyond a fitting, complete, and with its original packaging and any protective film or tag still attached.
We may reduce your refund if the item shows signs of use beyond a simple fitting, for example scratched acetate, missing crystals, hair or cosmetic residue, or a broken clasp.
2. How to return an item, step by step
Step 1. Tell us within 14 days of delivery, using the contact form. Give us your order number and the item you wish to return. You may also use the standard withdrawal form available at the bottom of this page.
Step 2. We reply within 2 working days with your return confirmation and the return address.
Step 3. Send the item back within 14 days of telling us, by registered mail with tracking. Please keep your proof of postage.
Step 4. We inspect the item on arrival and confirm receipt by email.
Step 5. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your parcel, to the payment method used for the order.
3. Who pays what
Return postage is paid by you. We recommend registered mail with tracking. Parcels sent without tracking that never reach us cannot be refunded.
We refund the price of the item, plus the standard outbound delivery cost you paid. If you chose an express or upgraded delivery option, we refund the amount of our standard delivery option for your destination.
Customs duties and import taxes paid outside the European Union are not refunded by us. You may be able to reclaim them from your local customs authority using your return proof of postage.
4. If your item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered
This is on us, not on you.
Contact us within 14 days of delivery through the contact form, with your order number and photographs of the problem. We will arrange the return at our expense and offer you a repair, a replacement or a full refund.
If the parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph it before opening and let us know. We handle the claim with the carrier, so you do not have to.
This is in addition to the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects provided under French law (Articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code, and Articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code).
5. Cancelling an order
Before your order ships, contact us and we will cancel it and refund you in full.
Once it has shipped, your 14-day right to change your mind applies as described above.
6. Items that cannot be returned
In line with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your personal specifications: our bespoke One-of-a-Kind Couture commissions, and any piece produced to a colour, size or design you have specified.
This exception is stated clearly on the product page before you order. It does not affect your rights if the item turns out to be faulty or not as described.
7. Return address
Please do not send anything back before contacting us. Returns received without prior notice may not always be processed.

8. Standard withdrawal form
You may use this wording, though any clear statement of your decision is equally valid:
"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the following goods: [item name and reference]. Ordered on: [date]. Received on: [date]. Name: [your name]. Address: [your address]. Order number: [number]. Date: [date]."
